"Humans do not only build the world in which they live in today, but they put in equal work and ef- fort into building a better future, painting the future, leaving behind history in interconnected lives of each other. The equal effort and quality of work is represented from the solid continuous red stripes of the United States flag. These stripes are being painted on by individuals of different ethnicities, which each individual have a sense of belonging to this nation that was built by them as a group effort. Using images of hands makes the poster more personal and human instead of the drawing of a hand.
