"Los Angeles is a city everyone should live in, and by everyone it’s everyone in terms of diversity. From race, to sexual orientation and disabilities diversity can be found anywhere in the city and should stay in this city to represent it as a home. I used buildings to represent peoples homes because I grew up living in Downtown LA and buildings were the first things to come to mind as home. The stick figures are to represent us as citizens however they would also reveal different ways people have in their homes such as traditions, orientation of their sexuality, and signs of their disabilities. The rectangles represent the buildings and homes as for the colors they represent the sky and colors of the LA downtown buildings. The stick figure’s actions and homes represents the diversity because with diversity LA is Our Home."-- Kendrick De La Rosa
