Mina is currently a fourth year student at the University of California Los Angeles. She is interested in developing and engaging in community-engaged research because she is passionate about helping dismantle the higher education academia production of knowledge to the higher education gatekeeping pipeline that is often created. She has a strong passion for working towards equitable and engaging policies that seek to contribute towards social justice, civil rights, and racial equity in the K-12 classroom and other spaces.
Mina also enjoys teaching and working with children because she believes education is powerful and she loves to watch people grow. During her free time, Mina loves to watch TV shows and movies, hang out with friends and cook new food.
