Jacqueline “Jackie” Fowler is the Executive Administrative Assistant III for the Civil + Human Rights & Equity Department. Jackie started her civil service career 33 years ago as a Clerk Typist in the City Clerk’s Office. She went on to serve as a Clerk Typist, Accounting Clerk I, Accounting Clerk II, and Secretary for the City Planning Department and the Los Angeles Police Department. These positions have led to extensive experience supporting mid and senior-level managers by providing them with consistent administrative support. Ms. Fowler is a highly motivated, organized individual with a pleasant attitude and willingness to help all those around her. Jackie is a native of Compton and holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration from California State University, Dominguez Hills. She is excited and honored to be a part of the Discrimination Enforcement Unit and looks forward to helping bring equality to all communities.
