Jawad Ali serves as an Information Technology Specialist for the City of Los Angeles Civil + Human Rights and Equity Department (LA Civil Rights).
Jawad brings 15 years of experience in the field of information technology and has a diverse background in corporate settings, with extensive experience in IT Support and Server Administration.
A first-generation immigrant born in Gujrat, Pakistan, Jawad moved to the United States to pursue his studies and career. After completing two graduations (MIT, MBA) from overseas, Jawad earned a degree of MSIT in Cyber Security and Digital Forensics from Middle Georgia State University.
Prior to working with the department, Jawad was working as a Computer Network Architect at a construction firm that provides engineering and construction services to public agencies in Southern California. Jawad was responsible for firm’s information technology infrastructure and providing IT services to staff working at public agencies (LAWA, Metro and San Diego Airport).
